The End

Right now in our community, there is too much fear and worry around starting a community garden to take this proposal any further. There will be no Sycamore Hills Community Garden.

Thus, this site now does not apply to Sycamore Hills, but I am going to keep it up in case other people looking to start a community garden would like to see how the process went for us.

I hope this helps you, and feel free to contact me for additional information.

So sorry to hear about your frustrating and sad experience. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I hope that you can find a different CG to invest your passion and experience. Good luck and keep your chin up you CG soldier!

Amy,

I would really like to "talk" with you - either on this blog or via email. I'm very interested in your experience - it's very similar to my own recent efforts to get a gardening project going in our neighborhood. I quoted from your site in a today's post on my own blog.

Anyway, I'm sorry you weren't able to get a garden going. Most especially, I share your frustration about the opposition. Why, when you try to be transparent, and give opportunities for input, do people refrain from expressing oppostion until late in the process? Very frustrating . . .

Best,

Katherine
